Camp Sharing Meadows
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to attend camp, whether that's a short weekend retreat or a long week of camp! Unfortunately, for some of our other-abled friends, they may have never had this experience.
Join the Camp Family
Here at Camp Sharing Meadows, we’re all part of one big family! There are many positions currently available. View available positions & fill out our online application. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Sharing Meadows Spring & Summer Camp 2023
Camp Sharing Meadows is a safe place where all other-abled adults can come and surround themselves with people who truly care about them.  We want our campers to realize what they have to offer as individuals and reach their full potential every single day.
Our camps allow other-abled adults to have fun while learning faith based values, participating in arts and crafts, swimming, learning about animals with our equestrian and therapy dog partners, and even participate in a musical theatre performance!
More ways to help? We love donations of every kind! Here are some things we’d love to have donated to us for more fun camp adventures. As always, we accept monetary donations, as well. Thanks in advance for your generosity!

Royal Family KIDS Camp fosters resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories for foster children. The camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life giving activities throughout the 5-day experience.
The primary purpose of Royal Family KIDS Camp is to give foster children ages 7-11 a week of positive memories and royal treatment in a Christian camp environment. Adult Camp Counselors give attention and encouragement to his/her “Big Camper” during their time at camp. In addition, each Camper is  exposed to a variety of fun activities, designed for their success and to build self-esteem.
For most of these children, it’s the best week of the year—a special time when they can focus on having fun and enjoy being a kid.
Camp Directors, Staff and Counselors go through intensive training. This includes a study of the dynamics of child abuse and neglect, facilitated by  recognized professionals in these fields. There is also an intensive screening process for Counselors and Staff. Two Children—and only two—are assigned to each Camp Counselor. In addition, there is generally a “back-up” Staff person for each Counselor, so the actual Staff-to-Camper ratio is often one to one.  There are strict policies for behavior of Campers, Counselors and Staff which assure that there is never an opportunity for an unsafe or questionable situation. Additionally, several strict and important measures are taken to ensure the camps are safe for the children. The campsite itself has been especially selected to provide a safe, fun place for the camp experience. The food is even great!
